Motorbike taxi driver in Hanoi fined for touching 19-year-old girl's thigh

On October 28, a representative of Nhan Chinh Ward Police (Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi ) said that the unit had administratively fined Mr. NVB (43 years old, technology motorbike taxi driver) 2.5 million VND for the act of Provoking, teasing, insulting, abusing, and defaming the honor and dignity of others.

Previously, at around 6:00 p.m. on October 20, through the application, Mr. B. accepted to take Ms. T. (19 years old) from Thai Hoa street (Mo Lao ward, Ha Dong district) to Co Nhue (Co Nhue ward, Bac Tu Liem district).

While waiting at a red light at the intersection of Le Van Luong - Khuat Duy Tien (Nhan Chinh ward), Mr. B. touched and rubbed the female customer's thigh and invited Ms. T. to go for coffee.

Feeling harassed, Ms. T. reported to the car company and the authorities. Working with the police, Mr. B. admitted to all of the above actions.
