Department of Transport ranked last in the 2023 administrative reform index

On June 12, news from the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the Chairman of the People's Committee of this province has just decided to announce the results of the administrative reform index in 2023 of the provincial departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of localities of the province.

Accordingly, among 17 provincial departments, agencies and branches, the administrative reform index of the Department of Justice ranked first in the ranking (88.25/100 points, achieving rate of 88.25%); at the bottom of the ranking was the Department of Transport with 71.82/100 points (achieving rate of 71.82%). There were 2 units that did not receive a negative score, which were the Department of Information and Communications and the Economic Zone Management Board; the remaining 15 units all received negative scores.

As for the Provincial Inspectorate and the Ethnic Minorities Committee, according to the provisions of Decision No. 1437/QD-UBND dated August 14, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman promulgating "Regulations on determining the administrative reform index of provincial departments, branches, and sectors, People's Committees of districts and cities in Ca Mau province", the scoring is carried out to evaluate the implementation results but not to rank the administrative reform index. According to the scoring results, the Ethnic Minorities Committee achieved a total of 79.12/89.50 points, a rate of 88.40%. The Provincial Inspectorate achieved a total of 68.96/87.50 points, a rate of 78.81%.

For the People's Committees of localities in Ca Mau province, the administrative reform index of Dam Doi district topped the rankings (79.64%) and all districts and cities received minus points.
