Summary of the first 6 months of activities of the Advisory Councils

Comrade Nguyen Van Hoi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.

Based on the specific task requirements in the fields of Democracy - Law and Ethnicity - Religion of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, in the past time, members of the Board of Directors have actively and proactively provided advice on a number of key program contents.

Regarding the activities of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front on Democracy and Law, the members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front have advised the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front on the content of comments on draft laws and draft resolutions related to the people's mastery, judicial reform, and local government building. Notably, they have contributed comments on the Draft Amendment to the 2013 Constitution (Article 9), participated in consulting the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front in handling a number of cases of petitions, complaints, and denunciations; responsibly participated in survey activities to collect information to serve the content of social criticism for the draft Resolution "Regulations on policies to support and treat artisans and clubs in the work of preserving and promoting intangible cultural heritage in Quang Ninh province, period 2025-2030 in 5 localities (Mong Cai, Hai Ha, Binh Lieu, Tien Yen, Ba Che)".

The members of the advisory council also directly prepared the content and communicated thematic guidelines for the activities of the People's Inspectorate and the Community Investment Supervision Board in 4 localities: Dam Ha, Hai Ha, Uong Bi, Quang Yen. The Executive Board of the Board of Directors and its members actively contributed opinions to 16 draft laws and legal documents of departments, branches and sectors in the province. In each field of work, propaganda and mobilization of union members, association members and people of all walks of life were carried out to implement the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State and to perform tasks upon request of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. In particular, focusing on the propaganda work of Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU, dated December 2, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee on the direction and tasks for 2025 and the working theme for 2025 of the province is "Breakthrough in economic development, creating momentum for the new term".

Regarding the results of the activities of the Ethnic and Religious Council, it has actively participated in giving advice in directing a number of work contents on developing and implementing the national target program on building new rural areas associated with the national target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas, mountainous areas, border areas, islands and sustainable poverty reduction in Quang Ninh province by 2025.

Advise the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to coordinate in disseminating and popularizing laws on beliefs and religions, including advising on the successful organization of the event of procession, enshrinement and worship of Buddha's relics at Yen Tu from May 25-28, 2025, leaving a good impression on the leaders of the Party and State, the people and domestic and international tourists.

The Executive Board and members of the Council have actively participated in giving comments and criticism on draft documents related to ethnicity, religion and policies related to ethnicity and religion as requested by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. The Council has also regularly contacted and well implemented the task of grasping and reflecting the situation of the people and coordinating the implementation of religious activities. Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness of the activities and role of the Fatherland Front in propaganda activities, mobilizing people to build the great national unity bloc, effectively implementing campaigns, patriotic emulation movements and innovating the content and form of activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the new situation.

At the conference, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors agreed with the results achieved by the two Councils in the first 6 months of the year. At the same time, delegates contributed their opinions, pointed out the advantages, disadvantages and limitations in the process of implementing tasks; proposed solutions to better implement the tasks of the Board of Directors in the coming time.

Deploying the directions and tasks for the last 6 months of the year, the Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee requested the 2 Standing Committees to continue to contribute opinions, demonstrating their roles and responsibilities more clearly. In particular, strengthening information and propaganda work so that cadres, party members, union members, association members and people have a deep and substantial understanding of the changes in the 2013 Constitution, focusing on contributing opinions for the implementation and operation of the 2-level government from July 1, as well as the preparation for the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolutions of the Central and the province. In particular, it is necessary to focus on promptly and promptly reflecting and proposing solutions to people's difficulties in the process of implementing and operating the 2-level government; drawing experience, overcoming difficulties and shortcomings to continue to perform well the role and responsibilities.
