Implementing Plan No. 108/KH-SNV dated September 26, 2025 of the Department of Foreign Affairs on inspecting and grasping the situation of the implementation of legal regulations on territorial border management in Yen Son and Phieng Khoai communes. In order to promptly grasp the situation, thereby detecting, synthesizing, advising, and proposing solutions to the difficulties and problems of the communes in performing the tasks of territorial border management in the commune, from October 6-7, 2025, the working group of the Department of Foreign Affairs led by Mr. Luu Binh Khiem - Director of the Department organized an inspection and grasped the situation in Yen Son and Phieng Khoai communes.

At the meeting, the working delegation and the communes exchanged and discussed to clarify the following contents: General characteristics of the commune; Implementation of legal documents on the Vietnam - Laos land border (directing the implementation and dissemination of documents; management of border lines and national border markers; the situation of investment and construction projects within the border belt; management of people crossing the border) ; reporting regime to the Provincial Border Steering Committee; assignment of leaders and specialists to monitor border work. At the same time, answer questions and suggestions from the communes in the process of performing tasks on territorial border work.

At the same time, the working delegation visited the project sites for building primary and secondary boarding schools in Yen Son and Phieng Khoai communes.

Comrade Luu Binh Khiem - Head of the working delegation requested the People's Committees of communes, in addition to the contents related to territorial border work, in the coming time, to continue to pay attention to and implement the contents in the field of foreign affairs: Regularly and proactively update relevant documents to implement the field of foreign affairs, territorial border; implement annual foreign affairs plans; border management regulations; construction of boarding schools in the commune, arrangement of commune personnel to effectively advise on foreign affairs work in the locality, cultural diplomacy , economic diplomacy, signing international cooperation agreements with the corresponding border localities... The People's Committees of communes need to proactively report and closely coordinate with functional agencies to promptly deploy and resolve difficulties and problems in the process of performing tasks./.
