Attending the conference were Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh; Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Thu Hien; Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council Truong Thi Phuong Thao, former Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs (LĐ-TB&XH) and Deputy Directors of the Department, officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Department of Home Affairs.
Implementing the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council and the Project of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs were reorganized into the Department of Home Affairs.
According to the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Department of Home Affairs, this unit has the function of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in performing the function of State management in the following fields: administrative organization, State career; local government, administrative boundaries; civil servants and public employees and public services; associations, non -governmental organizations; emulation, rewards; State documents and archives; youth; labor, wages; employment; social insurance; occupational safety and hygiene; meritorious people; gender equality; ethnicity and beliefs, religions.
After reorganization, the Board of Directors of the Department of Home Affairs consists of 1 Director and 4 Deputy Directors. The Department has 7 specialized departments: Department Office, Department Inspectorate, Department of Civil Servants - Public Employees, Department of Government Building and Administrative Reform, Department of Organization - Personnel, Department of Labor - Employment, Department of Meritorious People; 2 affiliated agencies: Department of Religion - Ethnicity, Department of Emulation - Reward; 2 affiliated public service units: Center for Historical Archives, Center for Employment Services.
At the conference, the Department of Home Affairs announced the decision to transfer Ms. Pham Thi Bach Hue - Head of the Department of Civil Servants and Public Employees to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, holding the position of Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel.
At the same time, announce decisions on transferring civil servants; transferring and appointing civil servants to lead and manage civil servants and introducing personnel of departments, offices and centers under the Department.
Decisions to appoint civil servants to leadership and management positions all have a term of office of 5 years, starting from March 1, 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the policy of restructuring the organization and apparatus from the Central to the grassroots level is a major policy of the Party, the Government as well as the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee. As General Secretary To Lam said, this is a revolution and the best time to implement this policy is right before the new term Party Congresses at all levels.
The consolidation and reorganization of the apparatus is to streamline and avoid overlapping functions and tasks, help optimize resources, promote the strengths of each field, improve the effectiveness of State management and better serve the people.
In the process of implementing this important task, the province always receives close direction from central ministries and branches so that Tay Ninh can supplement and perfect plans and projects; at the same time, it has close coordination from provincial departments, branches and branches.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh also highly appreciated the role and responsibility of the Department of Home Affairs in advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee to implement the policy of reorganizing the provincial apparatus in recent times.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh requested the Board of Directors, officers and employees of the Department of Home Affairs to continue to promote their intelligence and experience, constantly study to improve their qualifications, promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in the activities of the sector; strengthen discipline, administrative discipline, innovate working methods, be flexible and creative to excellently complete tasks.
The Department of Home Affairs quickly completed the conditions to organize the Party Cell Congress, moving towards the Department of Home Affairs Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh requested that the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs quickly complete the handover of related assets to the departments and branches: Home Affairs, Education and Training, Health, and Public Security before the reorganized departments and branches officially come into operation with new functions and tasks from March 1, 2025.
On this occasion, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs presented decisions to 9 civil servants, public employees, and employees of the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to retire early according to Decree 178 of the Government, from March 1, 2025.
