On July 11, a source from Dan Tri reporter said that the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health responded to the dispatch of the Drug Administration Department ( Ministry of Health ) regarding the sale of fake perfume in the city.
Accordingly, with the content "Ho Chi Minh City Police dismantled a gang buying and selling more than 10,000 bottles of fake Chanel, Bvlgari, Dior perfumes..." as reported by the press, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health sent an official dispatch to the Department of Police Investigation of Crimes on Corruption, Economy and Smuggling, Ho Chi Minh City Police to support in providing information on the results of the handling.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health will update the handling results to the Department of Drug Administration when there is a response from the Department of Investigation Police on Crimes of Corruption, Economy and Smuggling, Ho Chi Minh City Police.
At the same time, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health affirmed that it will continue to maintain and strengthen inspection work to combat, prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the medical field, ensuring the health and rights of consumers.

As Dan Tri reported, recently, the Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) received information from the press about the Ho Chi Minh City Police dismantling a gang that bought and sold more than 10,000 bottles of fake perfume, worth more than 10 billion VND.
The origin of the fake perfume is said to be purchased from China, then stored in many locations in Ho Chi Minh City and classified, packaged into fake perfume products of many famous brands and then sold through applications and groups on the internet.
To promptly detect, prevent and handle violations in the production and trading of cosmetics, the Drug Administration of Vietnam has 3 requests to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health.
Firstly, coordinate with local authorities (Police, Local Steering Committee 389, Ho Chi Minh City Market Management Department and related functional departments) to verify and synthesize information related to the above incident.
Verification contents include: List and quantity of products detected and seized; Images, product labels, identification marks, distinction from genuine goods, packaging (if any); Information about the organization, individual producing, trading, distributing;
Results of handling violations by local authorities (decisions on handling administrative violations and remedial measures).

Second, report detailed information to the Drug Administration early for synthesis.
Third, strengthen inspection and examination of the implementation of legal regulations on cosmetics management for cosmetics manufacturing and trading enterprises, especially for businesses on e-commerce trading floors and social networking platforms showing signs of violations.
The Ministry of Health requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health to urgently coordinate and provide information to ensure that cosmetics management is carried out effectively and promptly to protect the health and interests of consumers.
