According to Mundo Deportivo , Barca vice president Rafa Yuste will leave the club after many years of association. The reason he is willing to leave is because of an offer that is hard to refuse from Al-Nassr, the team that owns Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Saudi Arabian club has offered Rafa Yuste the position of chief executive, for an undisclosed salary. But it is widely speculated that he will receive millions of euros, much higher than what he currently receives as vice-president at Barcelona.
This can be considered a shock to the Barcelona leadership, because Rafa Yuste is an important person. He has a close relationship with the current president Joan Laporta, and has been a valuable assistant for many years. Yuste has always been involved in discussing important issues of Barca.

Before taking the vice-president position of the team, Rafa Yuste held the role of director from 2005 to 2008 and vice-president in charge of sports from 2008 to 2010.
"An unexpected departure is about to happen at Barca" - Mundo Deportivo commented. Currently, Barcelona is rushing to prepare for the new season and transfers are one of the jobs they put on top priority.
The departure of the club's vice-president could make things more difficult. So far, Barca have failed to sign Nico Williams, who unexpectedly extended his contract with Athletic Bilbao for 10 years.
On Al-Nassr's side, the invitation to Rafa Yuste to work may be related to Ronaldo. Many rumors say that after extending his contract until 2027, the Portuguese star set a condition that he must have a say in the team's personnel appointments.
Although he did not have the power to decide on the choice of Barcelona's vice president as Al-Nassr's CEO, it is possible that Al-Nassr's leadership asked Ronaldo for his opinion.
