Exciting "AI Festival" in Dien Bien

"AI Festival" opened in Dien Bien province on the morning of May 6 with many diverse activities, aiming to spread the application of technology into all areas of life.

The "AI Festival" event was organized by the Department of Science and Technology in coordination with STEAM for Vietnam under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and People's Council of Dien Bien province to concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing AI Festival; training on "Application of new generation artificial intelligence" for teachers and staff.

The event aims to spread the spirit of applying science and technology. Each cadre and party member needs to set an example and take the lead in learning and applying technology. Each educational institution and enterprise needs to become a center for spreading digital knowledge and each citizen needs to proactively learn and improve their technology skills, together building a strong, civilized and developed digital community.

Within the framework of the event, activities took place such as: Launching the campaign " Dien Bien Phu - AI coverage journey" and the movement "Digital education for the masses"; summarizing the training course "New generation AI application" and honoring outstanding projects; experiencing AI technology at the exhibition booths and the Robotics friendly tournament with the theme "Campaign 715".

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the "AI Festival"; training on "Application of new generation artificial intelligence" for teachers and staff; and honored 5 individuals with the best AI application projects in the "Application of new generation AI" training course.

The first "AI Festival" held in Dien Bien - a mountainous province with many difficulties - has shown the determination of the provincial leadership team in proactively integrating into global trends, exploiting advanced technologies, especially artificial intelligence (AI), as a new driving force for sustainable and comprehensive socio-economic development./.
