For the Ha Tinh Health sector, each working day is like a special diary page, with pages full of tension and challenges when the whole province entered the "war" against the COVID-19 pandemic; there are pages recording milestones of change when high technology reached the grassroots level, electronic medical records were opened for each person and there are also pages full of humanity... All create a vibrant competitive picture and above all, converge on the only destination: the health and satisfaction of the people.

For cadres, doctors, nurses, and health workers, the years of fighting the epidemic are unforgettable memories. When the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, Ha Tinh activated a special movement "The health sector joins hands to prevent and fight the COVID-19 epidemic" with the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy". The entire sector joined in: from public to private health, from military and civilian medical staff to students of the Medical College, even retired cadres were ready to return to the front line.
More than 60 doctors and nurses volunteered to go to the South to support, hundreds of officers worked day and night at quarantine areas, field hospitals, and epidemic control stations.

With the motto of "Proactive prevention - Early detection - Timely isolation - Compact containment - Thoroughly suppressing the epidemic - Curing the disease", Ha Tinh has successfully controlled the pandemic, protecting the safety of the community. People still remember the image of doctors "stretching themselves" in protective suits, or the silent tears falling when the last patient was discharged from the hospital. Those are difficult but also proud memories, showing the meaning of emulation when it originates from patriotism and love for the people.
Having gone through that challenge, the health sector has realized more and more that the health and well-being of the people is the most important measure. Therefore, in the period of 2020-2025, many other emulation movements have been launched and gone into depth, from improving the quality of medical examination and treatment (KCB) to building friendly, modern and humane healthcare.
The “Improving Hospital Quality” movement has become a strong driving force. More than 3,000 new techniques have been adopted and implemented, including many techniques that are only available at the central level such as: brain surgery, hip replacement surgery, cardiovascular intervention. The Provincial General Hospital has successfully performed a series of difficult cases, saving the lives of many patients with serious illnesses.

Up to now, 100% of regional hospitals have implemented endoscopic surgery, many facilities have had hemodialysis units, CT-Scanner, Phaco surgery. At the same time, the electronic medical record system, PACS, remote consultation, and electronic health record management for the entire population have been put into operation - a step that even many large provinces and cities have not yet implemented synchronously. Thanks to that, people no longer have to travel long distances to the Central level but can still access high-quality medical services right at home.

Not only stopping at techniques, the emulation movement also changes the service style. The movement "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" associated with the code of conduct has helped the medical staff train themselves according to close standards. That movement has become a concrete behavior: welcoming patients with a smile, listening to their families with patience, caring for patients as if they were relatives... The results are clearly measured when the annual patient satisfaction rate always reaches over 95%. For the people, that satisfaction does not come from numbers, but from the feeling of security when entering the hospital, from timely encouragement, from simple but sincere behavior.
The medical environment has also changed thanks to the movement “Building green - clean - beautiful - safe medical facilities”. The whole industry has planted more than 4,000 new trees, renovated and built more than 500 toilets, and regularly organized “Green Saturdays and Sundays”. Hospitals and medical stations are not only places for medical examination and treatment, but also become friendly spaces, reducing worries and pressure for patients and their families.
In particular, in 2025, Son Kim 1 Medical Station excelled over 2,000 medical facilities nationwide, winning second prize in the contest "Green, clean, beautiful, safe medical facility". This is a joy not only for the medical sector, but also for the people in the mountainous areas - those who directly enjoy the daily changes at their own medical station.

Also in recent years, the Ha Tinh Health sector has promoted the movement "Cadres, civil servants, and public employees compete to practice office culture", administrative reform and IT application. A series of procedures have been cut and shortened; online records at levels 3 and 4 have been expanded. When people go for medical examinations and do medical paperwork, they no longer have to spend much time, and there is no longer a scene of "running back and forth". This is also a way to compete in life, so that each person can see that healthcare is increasingly close and convenient.
In particular, deeply humane movements have touched the hearts of the people. In 5 years, the industry has called for support to build and repair 14 "union shelters" for medical staff in difficult circumstances, donated more than 1.2 billion VND to support colleagues in distress, and organized dozens of free medical examination and treatment trips for people in remote areas. Thousands of meals and gifts have been sent to poor patients, mentally ill patients, and patients in difficult circumstances. Each of these small actions carries a big message: "No one is left behind".

These results are not only recognized through certificates of merit and emulation flags from the Government, the Ministry of Health, the Provincial People's Committee, etc., but also affirmed through the trust of the people. Looking back on the past journey, Mr. Le Chanh Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Health shared: "The emulation movements are not aimed at creating more achievements for the industry, but the ultimate destination is the health and satisfaction of the people. People coming to the hospital must be served attentively, and medical examination and treatment must be convenient and safe. The trust of the people is the greatest reward for the medical team of Ha Tinh".

Entering a new phase, the Ha Tinh health sector continues its motto: taking the people as the center of all movements. Accordingly, it focuses on administrative reform to simplify procedures, promoting scientific initiatives to treat diseases more effectively, building green - clean - beautiful medical facilities to make patients feel more secure, caring for the poor and vulnerable groups to make society more equitable. With the spirit of persistent patriotic emulation, the Ha Tinh medical team will continue to write their special diary, in which each page and each line is engraved with a destination: people's health.
