The car is equipped with a large 22-inch carbon fiber rim combined with 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler AT all-terrain tires, completing the impressive off-road appearance. In addition, the car also has a dark-colored front skid plate, increasing practicality for off-road trips.

Inside the cabin of the Carbon Fiber Edition is a special Velocity Ember interior configuration, with a contrasting black and red color scheme. The center of the dashboard is a 13.4-inch touchscreen with a split-view feature that allows the driver and passenger to view two different contents at the same time.

In addition, the car is also equipped with OnStar connectivity system and built-in Google applications, including Google Maps and Chrome browser, providing a smart control experience like on a phone.

Based on the Hummer EV 3ˣ variant with a 24-module battery pack, the GMC Hummer EV Carbon Fiber Edition Pickup has a maximum output of up to 1,178 horsepower and 17,626 Nm of torque. The vehicle is capable of accelerating from 0 - 97 km/h in just 2.8 seconds with the Watts to Freedom acceleration function.

The SUV variant is no slouch either, with 842 horsepower and 15,592 Nm of torque, with an acceleration time of 3.5 seconds. These are currently GMC's most powerful full-size electric vehicles.

GMC also upgraded the vehicle's intelligent steering system with King Crab technology, allowing the rear wheels to turn faster than the front wheels for flexible maneuvering in tight spaces. Along with that, the vehicle also has familiar features such as reverse rear wheel steering (for sharp turns at low speeds) and Crabwalk (moving diagonally in the same direction) continuing to be present, helping to reduce the turning radius from 13.5 m to 10.8 m.

In particular, the UltraVision system is equipped with up to 17 cameras on the SUV version and 18 cameras on the Pickup version, providing a panoramic view around the vehicle body, providing effective support when going off-road or moving in complex terrain.

The 2026 GMC Hummer EV also adds Vehicle-to-Load, allowing charging of other vehicles or providing electricity to the home in the event of a prolonged power outage.

All 2026 Hummer EV models, including the Carbon Fiber Edition, will be assembled at Factory ZERO in Detroit and Hamtramck, Michigan. GMC has not yet announced the official price of the Carbon Fiber Edition, but it is expected to be higher than the 2025 Hummer EV 3ˣ SUV and Pickup, which start at $107,145.
