Exciting activities to celebrate Vietnamese Women's Day

On October 19, many localities, agencies and units in An Giang province organized joyful activities, exchanges, sports competitions... to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025); 15th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20).

Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long Thanh commune Tran Ngoc Khai awarded scholarships to students.

At the ceremony, the Women's Union of Long Thanh commune awarded 20 scholarships to poor but excellent students of Long Thanh 1 Primary School and Long Thanh 2 Primary School, supported by the union's mobilization of local and foreign benefactors.

Teams receive souvenir flags of the Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament.

On the same day, the Commune Women's Union coordinated with the Commune People's Committee to organize the 2025 Long Thanh Commune Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament, celebrating the Founding Day of the Vietnam Women's Union.

The tournament attracted more than 100 athletes from 8 teams representing hamlets, schools, agencies, units and armed forces in the area.

The organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 1 consolation prize to the teams with outstanding achievements.

The teams competed enthusiastically, giving beautiful matches.

The Women's Union of Tinh Bien Ward in collaboration with Luong The Vinh Secondary School organized a Women's Volleyball Tournament with 9 teams and 80 athletes who are female officials, employees, and workers in agencies, units, and educational establishments in the ward. The teams competed in a knockout format (3 wins 2) to enter the semi-finals and finals.

First prize awarded to An Phu Primary School "B".

As a result, the organizing committee awarded first prize to An Phu “B” Primary School; second prize to Luong The Vinh Secondary School; third prize to Tinh Bien “C” Primary School and Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School.

CIC Group leaders presented flowers to congratulate female CIC officers and employees.

5 teams from the union departments under CIC Group participated in the contest with dishes that have a strong traditional and modern flavor, diverse presentation styles... The jury selected and awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 2 consolation prizes to the teams.
