Opening of the Southern Traditional Cake Festival - An Giang

On the evening of October 18, at Golden City Urban Area, Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang Province Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center held the opening ceremony of the Southern Traditional Cake Festival - An Giang combined with the 2nd OCOP Tourism, Trade and Product Promotion Fair, 2025, with the theme "An Giang's Fragrance".

The festival takes place from October 18 to 26, with more than 300 booths from provinces and cities across the country and An Giang province. In addition to the performance space and display of traditional cakes, promoting tourism and local cuisine is the main highlight.

The festival also has an area to introduce export products, OCOP products, typical local products, and general commercial products to consumers, with a variety of goods in types and rich in quality.

The event aims to honor, preserve and promote the value of traditional Southern culinary culture through typical folk cakes of the river region; introduce and promote the image of people, culture and tourism of An Giang, contributing to stimulating tourism, expanding the market for local typical products and OCOP products.
