Initial investigation results determined that from around April 2024, Ha Kim Nhung, owner of the Ha Kim Nhung grocery store (address 530, Nguyen Hue Street, Dong Son 2 Hamlet, Thoai Son Commune, An Giang Province), sold goods to a number of agencies and units in the area but without accompanying invoices.

Ha Kim Nhung contacted Mr. Tran Anh Huy (born in 1964, owner of Nhat Huy business household, tax code 1600901713, address 318/5, group 7, Long Xuyen ward, An Giang province) to buy a total of 17 fake value-added tax invoices, with a pre-tax amount of VND 54,453,707, tax amount of VND 4,356,292, total payment of VND 58,810,000 from 4 companies (Ngoc Hung Dung AG Co., Ltd., Ngoc Phat Trien Trading and Service Co., Ltd., Van Thinh Phu 152 Construction Co., Ltd., Ngoc Phuc Hung Construction Co., Ltd.).

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police is continuing to investigate, verify and clarify the case.
