Thanh Loc Commune Women's Union helps 48 households escape poverty

On the morning of October 18, the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of Thanh Loc commune (An Giang province) held the 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of the commune, term 2025 - 2030.

During the past term, the Women's Union of Thanh Loc commune helped 48 households escape poverty, exceeding the target by 16 households, contributing to reducing the overall poverty rate of the whole commune to 1.3%, and near-poor households to 1.99%...

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Thanh Loc Commune Women's Union set out a common goal associated with 12 targets to strive to achieve during the term. The Union identified a breakthrough goal of comprehensive digital transformation in the Union organization and accompanying women to improve digital capacity.

The Congress announced the decision of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union to appoint an Executive Committee of 29 members; Ms. Do Yen Phuong holds the position of President of the Thanh Loc Commune Women's Union, term 2025 - 2030.
