My Thuan Commune inaugurated Ba Ngan canal bridge

On October 24, the People's Committee of My Thuan commune (An Giang province) coordinated with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Kien Giang branch to organize the inauguration ceremony of Ba Ngan canal bridge.

The Party Committee, People's Committee of My Thuan commune and Agribank Kien Giang branch cut the ribbon to inaugurate Ba Ngan canal bridge.

The Ba Ngan bridge project connects Hiep Tan and Kien Hao hamlets, with a reinforced concrete structure, over 40m long, 3.5m wide, and a load capacity of 3.5 tons. The total cost of building the bridge is 520 million VND, of which 500 million VND is sponsored by the Agribank Vietnam Trade Union Welfare Fund, the rest is contributed by the local government and the people.

The Ba Ngan bridge project was put into use to replace the degraded temporary bridge, helping people travel conveniently, ensuring safety, and contributing to the construction of new rural areas.
