The Party Committee, the People's Committee of My Thuan commune, and Agribank Kien Giang branch cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Ba Ngan canal bridge.
The Ba Ngàn bridge, connecting the two hamlets of Hiệp Tân and Kiên Hảo, is a reinforced concrete structure, over 40 meters long, 3.5 meters wide, and has a load capacity of 3.5 tons. The total construction cost was 520 million VND, of which 500 million VND was funded by the welfare fund of the Agribank Vietnam Trade Union, and the remainder was contributed by the local government and the people.
The Ba Ngàn bridge project has been put into use, replacing the dilapidated temporary bridge, facilitating convenient and safe travel for the people, and contributing to the development of new rural areas.
