During the 2021-2025 term, women's associations and movements in the province made strong and synchronized progress in all fields, with 100% of the resolution targets completed on schedule, and many targets achieved or exceeded the set goals.

The Executive Committee of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union has actively researched and innovated the content and methods of its activities, improving the quality of its grassroots operations. Activities supporting the building of happy families are closely linked to the emulation movement for building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, the "Building a family with 5 no's and 3 clean's" campaign, the "Building a family with 5 yes's and 3 clean's" campaign, and other specialized projects and plans related to family building, the "Accompanying women in border areas" program, and ensuring safety for women and children. Social monitoring and critical feedback activities have been maintained, with hundreds of monitoring sessions and numerous contributions to important documents related to women, children, and gender equality.

Support activities for women entrepreneurs are diverse, ranging from consulting, capacity-building training, connecting with capital sources, and trade promotion to accompanying women throughout the process of starting and developing their businesses. Women's associations at all levels have supported 5,234 women's households to escape poverty, mobilized funds to build and repair hundreds of houses for poor and disadvantaged women members, helping them stabilize their lives and develop economically . In particular, the "Godmother" program has become a support system for 373 orphans in the province, providing over 11 billion VND in resources to help them overcome difficulties and continue their education. In her address to the congress, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thu Hien urged all levels of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union to always place members and women at the center, to prioritize the legitimate rights and interests and the progress of women, to use women's consensus as a measure of effectiveness, and to strongly inspire the spirit of self-reliance and the aspiration for advancement in each woman.

The Women's Union at all levels in An Giang province must truly be a support system and a safe home for every woman and every family; actively implement the emulation movement "Building the Vietnamese woman of the new era" associated with promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style; focus on building An Giang women who are "Patriotic - Self-reliant - Resilient - Compassionate - Intelligent - Creative - Responsible - Digital - Green"; pay attention to supporting women in cultivating the good values of the family, preserving and promoting good cultural values; and strengthen social mobilization to create a safe environment for women and children.

Furthermore, it is essential to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in the activities of the association and in supporting women; to improve the quality of policy advice, proposals, monitoring, and social critique. Simultaneously, proactively advise on and integrate issues related to women, families, and children into local socio-economic development programs and projects, as well as national target programs and government projects, especially those projects that the association leads; and focus on building a team of association officials with strong political convictions, moral character, dedication to association work, qualifications, skills, and a scientific approach to work, closely connected to the grassroots.

To successfully implement the resolution of the First Congress of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union, term 2025-2030, Comrade Tran Thi Thanh Huong proposed that all levels of the Provincial Women's Union focus on strongly innovating the content and methods of operation in a practical and flexible manner, in line with the two-tiered local government model; enhancing the role of women in the cause of reform, integration, and development, as the core of building prosperous, equal, happy, and progressive families. In particular, she emphasized the need to absorb the 10 key orientations and tasks suggested by General Secretary To Lam for the organization, considering this a strategic breakthrough for the women's movement in the period 2025-2035, with a vision to 2045.

The Provincial Women's Union continues to thoroughly understand the Party's viewpoints and goals on women's work and gender equality; and effectively implement the resolutions and directives of the Politburo and the Secretariat on further promoting women's work in the new situation.

The Congress announced the decision of the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union appointing the Executive Committee of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 55 members, and the Standing Committee with 14 members; and appointing the delegation to attend the 14th National Women's Congress, 2026-2031 term, consisting of 18 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates.

Comrade Truong Thanh Thuy has been appointed as the Chairperson of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union for the 2025-2030 term; Comrades Nguyen Thi Quyen, Thai Thi Duy Ngan, and Le Thi Ngoc Dung have been appointed as Vice Chairpersons of the An Giang Provincial Women's Union for the 2025-2030 term.
