The People's Council of Chau Doc ward dismisses the Chairman of the People's Council of the ward.

On December 12th, the People's Council of Chau Doc ward (An Giang province), term I, 2021-2026, held its 5th (special) session to consider and decide on matters within its authority.

Delegates participate in the voting at the session.

At the meeting, delegates approved the report and draft resolution of the People's Committee of Chau Doc ward regarding the decision on the staffing of officials and civil servants in local government agencies; and the number of employees receiving salaries from the State budget in public service units of Chau Doc ward in 2025 after restructuring.

The leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Chau Doc ward acknowledge the contributions of Comrade Lam Quang Thi to the development of the locality.

Also at the meeting, the Ward People's Council considered the proposal to dismiss Comrade Lam Quang Thi, former Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Council, from the position of Chairman of the Ward People's Council, due to his reassignment to a new position. The Ward People's Council fully followed the prescribed procedures and passed a resolution confirming the dismissal of the Chairman of the Ward People's Council, term I, 2021-2026.

The Ward People's Council has passed a Resolution on the Decision on the staffing of officials and civil servants and the number of employees receiving salaries from the state budget in public non-business units in 2025.
