Ia Sao commune has completed 17 out of 19 targets for 2025.

(GLO) - On December 12, the Executive Committee of the Ia Sao Commune Party Committee (Gia Lai province), term I, 2025-2030, held its third conference to evaluate the results of tasks performed in 2025 and discuss and set directions for 2026.

In 2025, the Party Committee of the commune remained united, leading and directing the implementation of policies and tasks to achieve good results, meeting and exceeding 17 out of 19 targets set in the Resolution.

The socio -economic situation remained stable and showed signs of development. The total cultivated area reached 4,718.9 hectares, achieving 102.5% of the plan. The estimated total grain production was 6,548 tons, reaching 101.6% of the plan. Industry and handicraft production is estimated at 315 billion VND, an increase of 12.3% compared to the same period last year.

Budget revenue and expenditure were managed strictly and in accordance with regulations. Total state budget revenue in the area reached over 6 billion VND, equivalent to 915.64% of the provincial and commune People's Council's projected targets.

Social welfare and public health care policies have been implemented promptly and thoughtfully; the material and spiritual lives of the people have improved significantly. Currently, the commune has only 4 poor households, accounting for 0.2%, and 39 near-poor households, accounting for 1.95%. The commune has completed the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. Political security and social order are ensured.

Party membership development has been given priority. In 2025, the commune Party Committee admitted 10 new members, achieving 111.11% of the target set in the Resolution of the Ia Sao Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. To date, the commune Party Committee has 309 members.

At the conference, delegates frankly analyzed the reasons for the failure to meet two targets: the percentage of people participating in voluntary health insurance and social insurance. They also pointed out other shortcomings and limitations such as: difficulties in developing Party members; slow handling of citizens' petitions and land-related documents; the application and processing of documents on the operational management system not being smooth across subordinate Party branches; and the low effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization efforts to change the mindset and practices of ethnic minority communities…

Based on the feedback received, delegates discussed and voted to approve 21 targets for 2026; including several important targets such as: a 7.04% increase in product value; a 92.5% rate of people participating in health insurance; attracting one new project; reducing the multidimensional poverty rate by 0.1%; and achieving a 3% rate of new party membership recruitment at the beginning of the term.
