In his opening remarks at the conference, Dr. Nay Phi La, Director of the Department of Health, stated: “Dak Lak is the center of the Central Highlands region, and the demand for healthcare services is increasing. Developing specialized healthcare is not only an urgent task but also a strategic vision to improve treatment capacity, reduce the burden on higher-level hospitals, and affirm the position of the province's healthcare sector. We are in the final stages of achieving our healthcare goals by 2030, so this conference demonstrates our proactive approach and determination in accessing new techniques and improving the quality of life for our people…”
At the conference, medical experts transferred advanced resuscitation and controlled hypothermia techniques; diagnosed wide QRS complex rhythms on surface electrocardiograms; advances in thoracic surgery; coronary intervention; cerebral, visceral, and limb vascular intervention; and shared advances in gastrointestinal endoscopy and the application of AI in endoscopy.
Simultaneously, experts also updated information on ECMO applications; advancements in neurosurgery and spinal surgery; the application of 3D printing technology in surgery; and the application of cryopreservation infusion technology in kidney transplantation.
In addition, experts also organized interdisciplinary consultations and multi-modal treatment models; demonstrated coronary and cerebral angiography and intervention, etc.
