On October 25, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Phuong, Deputy Political Commissar of Vinh Hoi Dong Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command) said that the unit is continuing to support local people in moving their belongings out of flooded areas due to heavy rain.

Forces support people to evacuate property due to heavy rain causing flooding.

Previously, at 7:30 p.m. on October 24, at group 30, Vinh Hoi hamlet, An Phu commune, prolonged rain and wind caused the houses of two households to collapse, causing property damage of about 100 million VND. The two households are currently working away from home, and there were no casualties.

Vinh Hoi Dong Border Guard Station has dispatched 11 officers and soldiers to coordinate with the police, military and local people to move people's property to a safe place. At the same time, they have arranged forces on standby to be ready to support people in a timely manner in case of natural disasters.
