Training on reducing early marriage and incestuous marriage for ethnic minority students

On the afternoon of October 18, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province coordinated with An Giang 1 Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities to organize a training conference to foster legal knowledge, propaganda skills, advocacy, and legal advice related to marriage, population, and family for the school's students.

Attending the conference were 30 members of the Executive Board of the model "Prevention of early marriage and incestuous marriage" among the union members and ethnic minority youth of An Giang 1 Ethnic Boarding High School.

Delegates were provided with key content including: Relevant documents on the implementation of the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; legal knowledge, issues related to the implementation of the Project "Reducing child marriage and consanguineous marriage in ethnic minority and mountainous areas" under Sub-project 2 of Project 9.

The conference aims to implement a project to reduce child marriage and consanguineous marriage in ethnic minority and mountainous areas under the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas by 2025.
