Meeting of the Advisory Council for selection to perform provincial-level science and technology tasks

On the morning of December 4, the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province held a meeting of the Advisory Council for selection to carry out the provincial-level science and technology task "Building a Phu Quoc fish cake certification label for fish cake products of Phu Quoc city, Kien Giang province, now Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province" under the Intellectual Property Development Program in 2025.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of An Giang province, Le Quoc Cuong, is the Chairman of the Advisory Council for selection to carry out provincial-level science and technology tasks.

There are 3 organizations and individuals inside and outside the province participating in the selection to perform provincial-level science and technology tasks, including Investip Industrial Property Joint Stock Company Branch (Hanoi Branch), Ciptex Center for Technology Research and Intellectual Property, and An Giang Center for Science, Technology and Innovation.

Meeting scene.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and evaluated the application documents for the task implementation. The Council assessed that all three participating units had the capacity and implementation plans suitable for the task objectives. In addition, the Council members noted that Investip Industrial Property Joint Stock Company Branch, Ciptex Center for Technology and Intellectual Property Research should clarify the method of field survey in Phu Quoc and the plan to coordinate with local agencies during the implementation process.

Regarding the An Giang Center for Science, Technology and Innovation, the Council assessed the unit's strengths as detailed implementation plans, focusing on supporting the local fish cake production community, linking tasks with socio-economic development and tourism activities. The Council requested further clarification of professional experience in the field of intellectual property registration and coordination with specialized consulting units when necessary.

By secret ballot, the Provincial Advisory Council for selection of scientific and technological tasks unanimously chose the Investip Industrial Property Joint Stock Company Branch to carry out the task of "Building a certification label for Phu Quoc fish cakes".
