Thai Nguyen prepares to organize the Cultural and Art Exchange Festival of Ethnic Minorities in 2025

(CLO) According to the plan of the Provincial People's Committee, the 2025 Festival of Traditional Culture and Arts Exchange of Ethnic Minorities in Thai Nguyen Province will take place on December 10 at the Cultural House of Tin Keo Hamlet, Phu Dinh Commune.

The event was held in one day with many special activities, honoring the cultural identity of ethnic groups in the area.

The festival opens with an incense offering ceremony to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at ATK Dinh Hoa. Immediately after that, the Organizing Committee will open the program and display typical cultural and culinary products; at the same time, organize folk games, creating an experiential space for locals and tourists.

Traditional folk games are also held at the Festival, including the shuttlecock tossing game.

The highlight of the event is the art exchange program taking place at 7 p.m. on the same day. Typical cultural clubs of ethnic groups will perform many types of folk art that have been recognized by UNESCO or included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Including: Then singing - Tinh lute, Luon coi, Vi singing, Bat dance, Chau dance of the Tay people; Tac Xinh dance and Sang Co singing of the San Chay people; Soong co singing of the San Diu people; Khen dance of the Mong people; Pa Dung singing of the Dao people; Sli singing of the Nung people...

The San Chay people's Tac Xinh dance will be performed at the Festival.

Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Festival will become an opportunity for artisans and ethnic minority communities to exchange and promote typical traditional cultural values. At the same time, the event also aims to combine cultural preservation with tourism development, contributing to the effective implementation of the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2025.
