Exciting cultural exchange program, sports competition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the success of August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

On the morning of September 2, at the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument ceremony ground, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province organized a cultural exchange program and sports competition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Attending the program were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of departments and units under the Department, along with a large number of officers, soldiers, ethnic people and tourists.

The opening was a welcoming performance by the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center with many special performances such as: "The Country is Full of Joy", " Ho Chi Minh's Song", "Aspiration for Power", "Dien Bien City in My Heart", dance "Highland Market"... The performances brought a joyful and exciting atmosphere, full of national pride and love for the homeland.

Right after the art program, the sports competitions took place enthusiastically, attracting a large number of athletes, people and tourists to participate and cheer. The diverse competitions, imbued with cultural identity and sportsmanship such as: Pa pao, Beating bird's nest, Pounding rice cake, Sports dancing, Basketball... created an exciting and united competition atmosphere. The competitions not only contributed to improving the spiritual life and training the health of the people but also provided an opportunity for communes, wards and clubs to exchange, strengthen solidarity, and affirm the richness and diversity in the spiritual life of the ethnic groups in Dien Bien province.

The cultural exchange and sports competition program is a practical activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). At the same time, it is an opportunity for cadres, soldiers and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province to review the glorious revolutionary tradition and pay tribute to the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
