Stick to political tasks, compete to achieve high results

From the beginning of 2025, the Party Committee and Command of Division 355 identified the Party Congress as a broad political activity in the entire unit. Therefore, all preparations for the Congress were directed resolutely, thoughtfully, and synchronously, in conjunction with the peak emulation campaign of "Unity, making achievements for the Party", "Celebrating the Party, celebrating Spring, launching the army to victory" and the Emulation Movement of "Excellent training, strict discipline, high combat readiness".

According to Colonel Nguyen Cong Phuong, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Division 355, all emulation activities must be practical, specific, effective, not ostentatious, and must truly contribute to improving the overall quality and combat strength of the unit.

The Division Party Committee has directed agencies and units to develop appropriate emulation plans, with content closely following the core political task of improving the quality of training, discipline training and building discipline. In particular, many specific emulation contents have been deployed such as: "Model Technical Day", "Discipline Training Week", "One good deed for the unit every day", "Each cadre and party member has an initiative to improve techniques to serve training and combat readiness".

Focus on building a healthy cultural environment

Along with the tasks of training, combat readiness, and building a regular order, cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities were also widely organized. In units such as Regiment 82, Regiment 192..., there were cultural exchanges, festivals to promote revolutionary songs, exhibitions of documentary photos, competitions to learn about the traditions of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the Vietnam People's Army, and the Division... contributing to enriching the spiritual life of soldiers, while at the same time propagating and educating to raise political awareness for cadres and soldiers about the leadership role of our Party in the revolutionary cause.

In particular, the movement to build a "Bright-green-clean-beautiful, regular, exemplary" unit landscape has been widely deployed. At Regiment 82, the unit was chosen as a model in building a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical". The Regiment's campus seems to have been "dressed in a new coat" with neatly trimmed trees, colorful flower beds, a system of parking lots, and a reasonably and scientifically planned growing area. Bulletin boards, billboards, and propaganda slogans are beautifully decorated, creating a regular, friendly space, inspiring officers and soldiers to love and be more attached to the unit.

A highlight of the emulation campaign to welcome this Congress of Division 355 is the activities towards the grassroots, taking care of the material and spiritual life of soldiers and local people where they are stationed. According to Lieutenant Colonel Phan Trong Hien, Political Commissar of Division 355, the units have launched the model "Warm soldiers' meals", organized workdays to help people, dredged canals in the fields, repaired rural roads... contributing to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the hearts of the people.

Along with that, mass organizations also launched many projects and tasks such as "Volunteer Saturday"; "Youth branch without cadres and members violating discipline"; "Youth bookcase"; "Political activity corner", contributing to building a healthy cultural environment, promoting the pioneering and creative role of youth in building a strong and comprehensive unit.

All for the purpose of successfully organizing the Congress

The work of increasing production was given special attention by the Party Committee and command of Division 355.

Up to this point, the preparation work for the organization of the Party Congress of Division 355 for the 2025-2030 term has been basically completed. The documents submitted to the congress were elaborately and scientifically prepared, accurately reflecting the practical situation and development orientation of the unit in the coming term. Personnel work was carefully prepared, in accordance with principles, democratically and objectively. The facilities serving the congress were invested in and upgraded. The spirit and momentum among cadres, party members and the masses were very excited, confident and expecting important decisions to be passed at the Congress.

It can be affirmed that the activities towards the Party Congress of Division 355 not only contribute to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, but also serve as an important lever to promote the successful completion of political tasks in 2025 and the following years. This is also an opportunity for the entire Division to look back on the past, affirm the results achieved, and at the same time outline new directions and goals, build a strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres, a strong Division in all aspects, "exemplary, typical", successfully completing all assigned tasks.
