Simplify administrative procedures

Implementing the province's direction on administrative procedure reform, the People's Committee of Son Duong district has issued plan No. 561 for implementation with 6 key objectives and 31 specific tasks. The district has directed agencies, units, communes and towns in the area to promote propaganda on administrative procedure reform, disseminate legal knowledge, policies of the Party and State, publicly post administrative procedures at the headquarters of agencies and units... Thereby creating a favorable and open legal corridor for people and businesses to easily access and resolve related procedures.

Agencies and units in Son Duong district guide people to install Tuyen Quang ID application.

Mr. Vu Tuan Tu in Kim Xuyen village, Hong Son commune said: Although the commune has just merged from Hong Lac commune and Van Son commune not long ago, people who come to resolve administrative procedures are all resolved promptly. Officials and civil servants at the commune's one-stop shop are always on duty to guide people when they come to do procedures, and all documents are publicly available at the headquarters so that people know and follow the regulations.

In order to build a "one-stop" and "one-stop-shop" mechanism in receiving and handling administrative procedures, Son Duong district has increased investment and upgraded the working houses and offices of the one-stop-shop department of the district and in communes and towns. In particular, the one-stop-shop department of Son Duong district is located in the district center with an area of 280 m2 (sharing a house with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs of the district); the one-stop-shop department of Son Duong town is invested in and built separately with an area of 120 m2. At the one-stop-shop departments of the agencies, there are computers connected to the internet, scanners, surveillance cameras, and free wifi for people to access the system...

Comrade Lai Minh Hong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Duong town, said: To facilitate people and businesses when coming to work, the town's one-stop department works continuously from Monday to Saturday. Since the beginning of the year, 100% of administrative procedure settlement files have been guided by civil servants at the one-stop department to be done online, over 80% of citizens coming to transact have been registered for a VneID electronic identification account. Most administrative procedures are guided and settled on time, without making people wait long, and no files return results past the deadline.

Increase trust among people and businesses

Currently, in Son Duong district, there are 2 industrial parks and clusters, Son Nam Industrial Park and Phuc Ung Industrial Park, which are gradually being filled up. Not only domestic enterprises but also many foreign enterprises have come to invest, contributing to solving employment for many local workers. Mr. Cho Won Jae, General Director of Future of Sound Vina Co., Ltd. in Phuc Ung Industrial Park (Son Duong) said: The company specializes in manufacturing electronic components. Since investing in Tuyen Quang, the company has been facilitated by the local government in all aspects, from legal support, site clearance for construction, creating an abundant labor source... thereby helping the company operate stably and develop more and more. Currently, the company is creating jobs for hundreds of local workers with an average income of over 7 million VND/person/month.

In recent times, agencies and units in Son Duong district have also made efforts to promote digital transformation, guiding people to register and use VneID applications, Tuyen Quang ID applications and popular applications of the district to facilitate transactions and online application submission. The district has also just organized a launching ceremony to respond to National Digital Transformation Day 2024 with the theme "Popularizing digital infrastructure and creating digital applications to develop the digital economy - New driving force for economic growth and labor productivity". Agencies and units have coordinated to "go to every alley, knock on every door", guiding each person to use useful services and applications.

Mr. Bui Manh Tuan, Bac Trung residential group, Son Duong town said: Through the guidance of the working group, he successfully installed online payment software, online payment has many advantages and is safer than using cash before. Along with the enthusiastic guidance, if people have any difficulties, they can come to the district's one-stop department to get advice and support to solve them thoroughly without having to go around in circles like before, helping to save people's time and effort. People can also register to receive results at home by post without having to go to the headquarters of agencies and units.

According to the report of the People's Committee of Son Duong district, in the first 9 months of 2024, the whole district received more than 11,000 administrative procedure records in various fields. Of which, the rate of early settlement accounted for over 97%, the rest were on time, with no overdue records.

According to comrade Pham Thi Nhi Binh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Duong district, in the coming time, the People's Committee of the district will continue to direct the innovation of leadership, direction, management and operation methods of authorities at all levels, effectively implementing the targets and objectives set out in Plan No. 561/KH-UBND dated December 31, 2023 on administrative reform of Son Duong district in 2024. At the same time, continue to review, publish, publicize, fully, accurately and promptly provide transparent information on administrative procedures, determined not to let delays occur in handling administrative procedure records at all administrative levels. Along with that, the district focuses on promoting the application of information technology in the operations of state agencies, allocating resources to accelerate the digitization of records and results of handling administrative procedures to meet the requirements of people and businesses; Strengthening public service inspection work, promptly detecting and handling violations of discipline and administrative discipline... Thereby, contributing to building a friendly government "serving the people", "working until the job is done, not until the end of the day".
