Not everyone knows that Google Maps Offline can show directions even when there is no Internet connection. If you are going to areas without network or simply out of 3G, this will be a great pocket trick for you to use Google Maps without network.
Instructions on how to use Google Maps Offline extremely simple |
Here are the steps to use Google Maps Offline.
Step 1: Click on the small menu button in the upper left corner of the application.
Step 2: Select Offline Maps.
Step 3: Select the type of map to save (You can select Home to save the map of the city where you live or select Custom Map to download a map of a city you want to find).
Step 4: Proceed to download the map.
Step 5: Once downloaded, you have an offline map of the area you live in.
That's it, you can use Google Maps Offline in the downloaded area quickly without needing 4G or wifi. The only drawback of this is that you won't be able to find areas outside the area you downloaded, to fix this you just need to download a larger map area.
Note: The map will have a limited time, can be deleted or updated when there is Internet.
