NXBGDVN said that in recent years, with the desire to best support teaching and learning, and at the same time contribute to promoting the digital transformation process ineducation , NXBGDVN has made efforts to build and put into operation platforms providing free electronic textbooks. Currently, NXBGDVN has 2 addresses providing this source of documents:

- taphuan.nxbgd.vn: This is a website directly managed and operated by NXBGDVN.

- hanhtrangso.nxbgd.vn: This website is operated by AES Education Technology Joint Stock Company (AES Company) based on cooperation with NXBGDVN.

After a period of implementation and comprehensive review, NXBGDVN found that the cooperation with AES Company in operating the website hanhtrangso.nxbgd.vn has caused some problems. Specifically, within 3 years of operation, up to 2024, NXBGDVN has paid AES Company hundreds of billions of VND.

Besides the financial burden, this cooperation contract shows a lack of optimization and does not really ensure the highest benefits for NXBGDVN as well as users who are students and teachers.

Faced with that situation, after many times of consideration and working directly with the representative of AES Company, NXBGDVN has decided not to continue signing the contract appendix for the next phase with AES Company. This decision has been officially and transparently announced by NXBGDVN to AES Company during the working sessions between the two parties. In the near future, NXBGDVN will stop operating the website hanhtrangso.nxbgd.vn.

NXBGDVN announced: "Up to now, the entire electronic textbook system of NXBGDVN, including the latest textbooks for grades 5, 9 and 12 (applied from the 2024-2025 school year according to the 2018 General Education Program), has been fully and accurately updated and is completely free for students, teachers and a large number of readers on the website taphuan.nxbgd.vn. This platform is directly managed by NXBGDVN, ensuring stability, fast access speed and content updated accurately according to published paper textbooks".

NXBGDVN affirms that the development and provision of free electronic textbooks is a voluntary effort, stemming from social responsibility and the desire to make practical contributions to the country's education. More than 160 million textbooks for the new school year

In the 2025-2026 school year, the Vietnam Education Publishing House will print 160.8 million textbooks, of which about 2-3% of the output is reserved for use in case of unexpected events, natural disasters, storms and floods... The Vietnam Education Publishing House is a 100% state-owned enterprise, so the organization of bidding for printing textbooks is carried out in accordance with the Bidding Law.

NXBGDVN has developed a plan for printing textbooks very early to organize printing and warehousing work in time to serve the distribution needs. NXBGDVN has been actively and urgently organizing printing and warehousing work and supplying textbooks to localities. Up to this point, 35.1 million textbooks have been supplied (reaching 22%) of the plan.

It is expected that by August 15, 2025, the Vietnam Education Publishing House will basically meet market demand, fully and promptly supplying textbooks to students and teachers nationwide before the new school year begins.
