A group of male staff were shirtless, wearing aprons, revealing their six-pack muscles while serving customers. Many people thought that this form of service was offensive and not suitable for the coffee shop model.

Recently, the image of a group of male employees wearing aprons serving drinks at a coffee shop in Lang Ha ( Hanoi ) has caused a stir on social networks.

Accordingly, the male employees are tall and muscular, but do not wear shirts when serving customers, only wearing an apron that reveals many muscles on their bodies.

These images caused a lot of controversy on social networks. Ms. Ngoc Mai, a customer who came to this coffee shop on the morning of March 8, shared: "I was embarrassed when I saw the employees not wearing shirts. I went with a partner to discuss work so I felt this type of service was very inappropriate."

Like Ms. Ngoc Mai, many people also said they will not come to this coffee shop because of the offensive service.

"This is a coffee shop, not a bar. The waiters are shirtless and unhygienic, easily getting sweat on customers' drinks," commented Nguyen Thuong.

Not only serving customers' orders and drinks, these employees also "please" customers by lifting female employees, or letting female employees touch their chests to take pictures...

Despite the mixed opinions, some customers, especially young people, were excited. Many people proactively came to the coffee shop to take photos with the handsome men with 6-pack abs.

"I think this is a bold way of serving. The staff are not only handsome and have great physiques, but are also very enthusiastic. They serve and take photos with customers. I want the restaurant to maintain this style of service," said Hoang Huyen (23 years old, Dong Da), a customer.

Many people also believe that this is a creative way of doing business to attract customers and create highlights. Some similar business models have become famous tourism products for visitors to Thailand.

Currently, the images of the above coffee shop continue to cause conflicting opinions.

Contacting a representative of the AC coffee chain, this person confirmed that the images of six-pack guys wearing aprons spreading on social media were actually employees of the shop, serving at the Lang Ha location (Dong Da, Hanoi).

In fact, the idea of hiring shirtless male staff to serve customers only applies on March 8. These handsome men will welcome customers during a certain time frame, 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.

This is just a short-term communication idea, as a gift for women on March 8, to create excitement for customers to remember the restaurant. The program applies to 2 out of 5 locations in the system.

According to the restaurant representative, although the male staff were shirtless, they wore aprons to cover their sensitive parts. At the restaurant, only 2 male staff were shirtless, the rest of the staff were dressed as usual.

At the same time, the restaurant also announces this service on social networks so that customers know the information in advance and proactively choose the appropriate service.

"This form also attracts the attention of many customers, some female customers even come to the shop to take pictures with the male waiters," said the coffee shop representative.

Previously, many restaurants and cafes also caused controversy because of their service style of "using the human body to attract attention".

In 2019, a snack shop in Trieu Khuc alley (Hanoi) caused a "storm on the internet" when it hired 4-5 shirtless male employees to sell on the sidewalk.

In December 2021, social media went viral with images of a group of shirtless people standing in the Cat Linh - Ha Dong metro train compartment (Hanoi). They were carrying banners advertising a chain of bedding stores.
