"Recycling shrimp shells to preserve fruit" wins special prize in startup competition

The special prize winner of this year's competition was the project "Recycling shrimp shells to preserve fruit" by a group of students from Van Lang University. This project solved the problem of increasing the shelf life of fruit while still ensuring the health and safety of users. The project also helps protect the environment by recycling waste from shrimp shells.

The first, second and third prizes respectively went to the projects: Smart water meter, Hcare - helmet cleaning service and Trang Nguyen legend.

In addition to cash prizes (special prize of 25 million VND, first prize of 15 million VND, second prize of 10 million VND...), excellent projects will continue to receive support from the organizing committee to realize and approach investors.

Launched in March 2023, the competition received 55 startup ideas from 205 candidates from 15 universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
