The exhibition space “Socio-economic achievements of Hanoi Capital” is elaborately designed on an area of ​​nearly 700m², belonging to the “Rich Province, Strong Country” subdivision, introducing more than 400 images, 30 artifacts, and 10 typical models. Among the hundreds of images, artifacts, and models introduced, Hanoi emphasizes the title “City for Peace ” - an honor awarded by UNESCO in 1999.

Notable are the typical symbols of the capital such as Long Bien Bridge, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hanoi Flag Tower, the "Determined to Die for the Fatherland" Monument, and the title "City for Peace" awarded by UNESCO. These symbols not only depict the cultural depth, bravery and resilience of Hanoians throughout history, but also emphasize the pioneering and creative role of the capital in the process of innovation and international integration today.

Hanoi brings to the exhibition a modern look with many advanced display technologies.

In addition to traditional values, Hanoi also brings a modern look to the exhibition with many advanced display technologies. Large LED screens show documentary films combined with vivid sound and light; Holo-box, Holo-fan systems and LCD screens recreate socio -economic achievements, introduce heritage and typical historical and cultural figures of the Capital.

In particular, the Capital Master Plan model introduces the strategic vision for Hanoi's future development, along with the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to support explanations, increase interactivity, and create a friendly experience for visitors.

With a layout following the historical and developmental flow, the exhibition space "Socio-economic achievements of Hanoi Capital" will lead visitors along the historical flow through three exhibition spaces.

The exhibition will lead viewers from the past to the present of a civilized, heroic, dynamic and creative Capital.

Part 1 with the theme "Hanoi forever echoes the heroic epic" aims to recreate the glorious historical journey, the brave spirit and indomitable patriotism, the great contributions, dedication and sacrifices of generations of cadres, party members, armed forces and people of all classes in the capital in the struggle for national independence.

Part 2 with the theme "Reconstruction, innovation and development with the country" will recreate the achievements in restoring, rebuilding and developing the Capital after the war to liberate the South and unify the country, especially the typical and outstanding socio-economic achievements in the innovation and integration process, contributing to affirming the role and position of the Capital.

Part 3 with the theme "New development thinking, building a "Cultured - Civilized - Modern" Capital aims to demonstrate the strategic vision and development orientation of the "Cultured - Civilized - Modern" Hanoi Capital, "Global connection", pioneering in the era of national growth, contributing to the country's rapid, sustainable development and longevity with the times.

In addition to the exhibition space displaying artifacts, Hanoi also arranges a space to display typical products, OCOP products, traditional craft villages; a space for artisans to perform; an area for key technology and industrial products; a culinary space with miniatures, models and sideline cultural and artistic activities.

Notably, the special art program “Hanoi - Forever the Aspiration of Vietnam” will be held on the evening of August 31 at the outdoor stage of the National Exhibition Center. This program is elaborately staged by director Hoang Cong Cuong and Meritorious Artist Thanh Hien with a variety of performances from music and dance, stage scenes, modern technology projections, combining historical images, paragliding performances with a choir of nearly 2,000 people. The program is a deep gratitude to previous generations, those who have devoted their youth and blood to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; at the same time, honoring the outstanding, comprehensive and sustainable achievements that the country in general and the capital Hanoi in particular have achieved, especially after 40 years of renovation.
