The series of activities "Colors of Uncle Ho's City" was organized to respond to the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Tran Kim Yen, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, former Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

The opening ceremony of the series of activities was a harmonious combination of a symphony - choir program, combined with a unique art mapping projection activity, bringing the audience a feast of music - light that was both eye-catching and emotional. In particular, the leading 3D Mapping art creative teams from France, Belgium, Singapore, and Vietnam who have made their mark at top events around the world - from Europe, Asia to the Middle East - came together to create a "light feast" where music and technology intersect, elevating the visual experience of the public.

The introduction comes from the French 3D Mapping team AC3 Studio. This is an emotional introduction, showing respect for the beauty, history and spirit of constant innovation of Ho Chi Minh City.
The Dirty Monitor artist group from Belgium continued the program with a 3-minute slideshow honoring the traditional values and global connection spirit of Ho Chi Minh City.
With the technique of rotating, transforming architectural blocks and smooth motion effects, the Singapore team brought a captivating visual experience in 3 minutes. The performance is a warm greeting from the Lion Island, sending a message of companionship, exchange and creative cooperation between cities in the region.

Finally, the presentation came from Vietsoftpro - the host team of Vietnam with the theme "Vietnam in me". It was a journey to discover the beauty of the S-shaped country - from its legendary origins to its strong rise in the new era.
Visual art opens up a space of perception, bringing memorable, different and impressive visual experiences… so that every viewer, whether a Vietnamese or an international friend, can find their own “Vietnam in me” in their own unique way.
The appearance of symbols of the Lac bird, the descendants of the Dragon and the Fairy, the Vietnamese people since the beginning of the world, important historical milestones such as the reenactment of three typical Declarations of Independence, corresponding to each different period, thereby strongly affirming the independence and autonomy of the nation, including: Nam Quoc Son Ha (1076) by Ly Thuong Kiet; Binh Ngo Dai Cao (1428) by Nguyen Trai; Declaration of Independence (1945) by President Ho Chi Minh in the performance brought the audience emotions and a surge of pride.
From the majestic North, through the sunny and windy Central region, to the dynamic and harmonious South - it is a gentle but profound visual journey, where the nature and people of Vietnam appear in each vivid frame. This is the greeting that Ho Chi Minh City sends to domestic and international tourists.
