Multiple accidents on La Son – Tuy Loan highway, local traffic congestion

On the morning of May 7, a series of accidents involving four trucks occurred on the La Son – Tuy Loan Expressway (part of the Ho Chi Minh Highway), causing a partial traffic jam. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.

According to initial information, at around 6:00 a.m. on May 7, at Km 7+645 on the La Son – Tuy Loan expressway, truck with license plate 82H-009.73 driven by Pham Mai Long (born in 2000, residing in Kon Tum ) in the direction of Hue – Da Nang suddenly overtook a vehicle in the same direction, leading to a collision with truck with license plate 82H-001.50 driven by Nguyen Tien Thanh (born in 1991, residing in Gia Lai) in the opposite direction.

Due to the sudden collision, Mr. Thanh's car had to brake suddenly. At the same time, the truck with license plate 88C-191.40 driven by Tran Van Suot (born in 1992, residing in Binh Phuoc ) traveling in the same direction behind was unable to react in time and crashed into the rear of the car in front. Next, the truck with license plate 17H-034.22 driven by Nguyen Van Hai (born in 1983, residing in Thai Binh) continued to collide with Mr. Suot's car, causing a chain reaction accident.

As a result, all four trucks were damaged, causing traffic congestion on the highway for a short time. Authorities quickly arrived at the scene to direct traffic, handle the incident, and investigate the cause of the accident.

By 8:00 a.m. the same day, the scene was basically cleared and traffic gradually returned to normal.
