Veteran Korean actor Park Sung Woong will come to Da Nang to attend the third Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF III), taking place from June 29 to July 5. The information, just released by the organizing committee, has quickly attracted the attention of fans and domestic film lovers.

Park Sung Woong, born in 1973, started his career in 1997 and is known as one of the top talented artists in Korea. He has the ability to transform into many types of roles, from thorny villains to humorous protagonists or deep inner characters. Some notable works include: Bloodhounds (2023), The Dude in Me (2019) or Remember (2015). With his restrained, disciplined and profound acting style, Park Sung Woong has continuously received many prestigious professional awards in Korea such as: Best Actor in the Action Genre with The Killing Vote at SBS Drama Awards 2023, Best Actor in a Movie for his role in The Dude in Me at Korean Culture and Entertainment Awards 2019, Special Performance Award for Actor in a Drama in the Genre in Remember at SBS Drama Awards 2016...

Park Sung Woong’s participation at DANAFF III is expected to create great attraction for the event, contributing to promoting cultural and cinematic exchanges between Vietnam and Korea in particular, and the Asian region in general. With the theme “Asian Bridge”, DANAFF III brings a series of exchange activities, film screenings and connections between regional filmmakers.
