Regarding the incident in which 11 children from the Kids Garden Kindergarten group were "crammed" into a 7-seat car for a picnic on November 4, on the afternoon of November 7, the leader of the Departmentof Education and Training of Dong Anh district said that the Department is coordinating with the People's Committee of the commune to inspect the operation of this facility.
After the incident, the owner of this kindergarten apologized to the parents. The People's Committee of the commune issued a notice to temporarily suspend the facility's operations for inspection and verification. The temporary suspension period is from November 7 until further notice.
Previously, on November 4, Kids Garden Kindergarten organized a field trip for students to Chimi Farm (Dong Anh district). 17 students, including teachers' children, registered for the field trip. Because the number of students was small and the school was close, the school used a 7-seat car to pick up and drop off students twice.
According to the plan, the children will experience a one-day excursion, with the cost of participating in the excursion being 150,000 VND/student. Due to the hot weather, the teachers let the students go home before the scheduled time. After the excursion ended, 6 of the teachers' children rode their motorbikes home with their mother, leaving 11 students.
Because the distance was short and the travel time was short, the children were all small, so the driver advised folding all the back seats so that the children could get in the car and go home together. Normally, the children would get in the car through the main door, but that day the teacher asked the driver to open the trunk, fold the seats, and carry the children up for easier transportation.
The incident was recorded by a customer visiting Chimi Farm and posted on social media, causing outrage among many people.
