Group of 8th grade girls who beat up their friend and filmed a clip suspended from school

On April 11, according to Thanh Nien 's source, the Board of Directors of Vo Van Kiet Secondary and High School (Rach Gia City, Kien Giang ) reported to the Kien Giang Department of Education and Training about the incident in which a female student of the school was beaten by a female student in the same grade in the restroom.

According to the school leaders, the incident happened on the afternoon of March 27, and the school only discovered it on March 29 (after a student provided the clip). Immediately afterwards, the school leaders coordinated with the school's Youth Union and homeroom teachers to invite the students and parents involved to get information.

Accordingly, during recess on the afternoon of March 27, HNN (class 8A4) made an appointment to meet PNLT (class 8A5) in the school restroom to talk because T. said N. was "pretty but arrogant". In the restroom, the two argued and got into a fight.

At that time, two other students, THANH and Đ.LHNh (in the same class 8A3) were also present. THANH used his phone to record a clip, then sent it to his friends HNN and Đ.LHNh to watch.

As for PNLT, the female student who was beaten, her family took her for a medical check-up. The doctor concluded that there were no signs of abnormalities and her health was stable. As for the three students HNN, D.LHNh and THAnh, they wrote a report and self-criticism.

On April 2, the school principal issued a decision to establish aneducation council and discipline students according to regulations. On April 4, the council conducted work, education, counseling and reminders to help students see their own shortcomings and mistakes; at the same time, it issued a disciplinary decision to suspend them from school and implement other educational measures according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Specifically: HNN was suspended from school for 2 weeks; THANH was suspended from school for 11 weeks; D.LHNh was suspended from school for 3 days. PNLT was warned before the student disciplinary and education council.

According to the school leaders, the parents of the students also agreed with the above form of education and discipline and committed to coordinate management and reminders in the coming time. The families of female students PNLT and HNN also met privately to discuss and make a commitment at An Hoa Ward Police Station.
