According to the new regulations of the People's Committee of Lung Cu commune (Tuyen Quang province), only electric cars serving tourists and the commune's self-managed motorbike taxi teams are allowed to operate to transport passengers to Lung Cu flagpole. This move is to control traffic and avoid local congestion.
The commune leaders said that the number of visitors to Lung Cu increased sharply, especially on weekends with more than 4,700 arrivals per day, while the parking lot at the foot of the flagpole was small and could not accommodate the large number of vehicles. Stopping and parking densely in the steep, narrow road area posed a risk of collision and traffic insecurity.
Local authorities recommend that tourists park their vehicles at the border station and use shuttle vehicles to visit Lung Cu Flagpole, ensuring safety and traffic order.

In addition, during the construction period of the Km39-Km44 section of National Highway 4C (Quan Ba Heaven's Gate slope) and Can Ty - Lao Va Chai road (Can Ty commune), tourists are restricted from traveling through the area.
Previously, heavy traffic on steep, narrow routes with many sharp turns and deep ravines on one side caused construction to cause local congestion at certain times.
Local authorities recommend that visitors choose the bypass route to ensure smooth traffic. For visitors who want to visit the lonely tree of Can Ty, they can turn onto Can Ty - Lao Va Chai road at Km59+515 to Km1+700 and then return to National Highway 4C.

From late October to early December is the peak tourist season when buckwheat flowers are in season, the weather is dry and sunny. Many places such as Tham Ma slope, Ma Pi Leng, Pho Cao, Lung Cu… are often overloaded.
According to tourism agencies, this year’s buckwheat flower festival welcomes a fairly balanced number of Vietnamese and international visitors. Foreign visitors remain stable year-round, while domestic visitors increase sharply on weekends.
