The Customs Department has just issued Official Dispatch No. 11066/CHQ-CNTT to the State Treasury, the Tax Department, the Department of Information Technology and Digital Transformation ( Ministry of Finance ); commercial banks; Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry regarding stopping receiving declarations from 10:00 p.m. on June 30 to 5:00 a.m. on July 1, 2025.
Specifically, from June 30, the customs authority will deploy an information technology system to meet the requirements of the new organizational structure. To prepare for the system deployment, the Customs Department will temporarily stop accepting customs declarations during the above-mentioned period.
The suspension of accepting declarations may affect the import and export activities of people and businesses. Therefore, the Customs Department notifies the above organizations to be aware and proactive in implementing the work.
According to the Customs Department, this unit has just launched the application “Vietnam Customs Data” to replace traditional paper reports. The target users of the application are leaders and managers at all levels from central to local levels who need to use import-export statistics information to serve policy planning and management.

The application is designed with the desire that data is provided more promptly; users can access data anytime, anywhere; data is reported in a variety of forms, many intuitive charts, helping users easily monitor, analyze and grasp important information.
The application currently provides daily, weekly and cumulative data up to the reporting date.
