The 2025 high school graduation exam was printed on A4 paper size, not A3 paper size as previously announced by the Ministry of Education and Training .
Specifically, on May 27, one month before the exam, at the training conference on inspection and examination of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, Professor Huynh Van Chuong, Director of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, said that this year's High School Graduation Exam will be printed on A3 paper instead of A4 paper like every year.
Mr. Chuong said that in previous years, the exam was printed on A4 size, so each exam usually had 4 to 5 pages, causing many difficulties in printing and the risk of missing pages. Therefore, changing the exam to A3 size will make printing easier, minimizing the risk due to the reduction in the number of pages.

However, when the exam officially took place on June 26 and 27, the exam was printed on A4 paper.
Speaking to reporters from VietnamPlus Electronic Newspaper, Professor Huynh Van Chuong said that printing on A3 or A4 paper size depends on the locality.
The 2025 high school graduation exam was assessed by candidates as quite long as the exam questions tended to be related to real-life situations and used a lot of language. In particular, in English, the exam was long with a different font than the standard font, and the lines were close together, causing difficulties for candidates in the process of doing the test.
