Recently, over 10,000 runners conquered the beautiful running route along the shore of the World Heritage - Natural Wonder of Ha Long Bay of the VnExpress Marathon Ha Long 2025 in the following distances: 5km, 10km, half marathon 21km and full marathon 42km. With the beautiful coastal route: Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road, Planning Palace, Provincial Fair and Exhibition, Quang Ninh Museum, Bai Tho bridge, Bai Chay bridge, Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road, Sun World Ha Long area, Sun Square, has left unforgettable impressions for domestic and international Marathon athletes.
The tournament is held during the peak summer tourist season, an opportunity for thousands of athletes to compete, relax and explore Ha Long and Ha Long Bay. This is the fourth time VnExpress Marathon Ha Long has been held in Ha Long, affirming its reputation in organizing large-scale sports and tourism events in Quang Ninh.

Previously, at the Yen Tu Special National Relic Site, the Yen Tu Mountain Climbing Tournament 2025 took place with the theme "Conquering Phu Van Peak" attracting over 2,000 professional and amateur athletes from nearly 30 provinces and cities across the country, competing in 2 distances (5 km and 8 km). At the 5 km distance, there is a journey from Minh Tam Square - Giai Oan - Duong Tung - Thap To - Hoa Yen and vice versa; at the 8 km distance, there is a journey from Minh Tam Square - Giai Oan - Duong Tung - Thap To - Hoa Yen - Chua Mot Mai - Bao Sai Pagoda - An Ky Sinh - Statue of Buddha Hoang Tran Nhan Tong - Dong Pagoda - Statue of Buddha Hoang - Van Tieu Pagoda - Hoa Yen - Thap To - Duong Tung - Giai Oan - Minh Tam Square.
The climbing route has an altitude of up to 1,068 m above sea level, passing through the system of relics, landscapes, and Yen Tu National Forest, creating great inspiration and impression for athletes, thereby contributing to promoting and introducing the special values of history, culture, and natural landscapes of Yen Tu Special National Relic Site in the journey of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and landscape complex to become a World Heritage Site.
With a synchronous, modern, convenient transportation and tourism infrastructure, along with diverse and professional accommodation and tourism products, meeting the needs of a large and diverse number of visitors, Quang Ninh always receives the attention and choice of large and important events. Following the successes, in November, over 1,500 Korean tourists, athletes, businessmen and workers will participate in the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2025 in Ha Long. This is the result of the efforts of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to connect with travel agencies in the Korean market to promote the attraction of international tourists through tours associated with cultural and sports events. It is expected that in addition to 1,500 athletes from Korea, this year's Halong Bay Heritage Marathon will also attract about 15,000 people and athletes to participate.
