3 subjects detained for possession of synthetic drugs

(QBĐT) - On April 10, 2023, the Investigation Police Agency of Le Thuy District Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Pham Van Binh (born 2002), Pham Van Long (born 1996) and Do Hoang Dinh Quoc (born 2002), all residing in Quy Hau village, Lien Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, for illegal possession of drugs.

Previously, at about 20:55 on April 5, 2023, the Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Police Team, Le Thuy District Police, in coordination with Kien Giang Town Police, conducted a patrol and control in the area and discovered a group of young men including Pham Van Binh, Pham Van Long and Do Hoang Dinh Quoc showing suspicious signs.

During the administrative inspection, the subjects were found to be in possession of 134 round tablets of modern medicine, suspected to be synthetic drugs in the form of pink pills. During the investigation, the subjects confessed that they had purchased the drugs for personal use and sold them to drug addicts in the area.

Currently, Le Thuy District Police are continuing to investigate, expand and prepare initial records to handle according to regulations.
