The Investigation Police Agency - Provincial Police has just temporarily detained criminal suspect Vu Xuan Thuy (born 1981, residing in Tan Thanh ward, Buon Ma Thuot city) to handle the act of murder.
Initial investigation results show that Thuy and Ms. N (born in 1983, living in the same ward) were in a romantic relationship. However, because both of them had their own families, they lost contact with each other for about a month.

At around 10:15 p.m. on September 12, after returning from drinking, Thuy rode his motorbike to Ms. N's house to talk, but she was not home. After waiting for 10 minutes, Thuy saw Mr. TVL (born in 1986, residing in Tan Tien ward, Buon Ma Thuot city) driving his motorbike to take Ms. N home.
Here, the three people stood talking for a while, then a conflict broke out between Thuy and Mr. L. At that time, Thuy took out a 42 cm long knife from the trunk of his motorbike and stabbed and slashed Mr. L. many times, causing the victim to die immediately.
After committing the crime, Thuy went to Tan Tien Ward Police Station to surrender, handed over the weapon and confessed to all his crimes.
Initial autopsy results determined that Mr. L. suffered 10 wounds to the back, head, chest, arms, legs and one wound to the left abdomen that severed the iliac artery, causing acute blood loss leading to death.
