Currently, Tan Hoi commune has an area of 146.2 ^km2 and a population of nearly 49,500 people. In response to new requirements after the merger, the Tan Hoi commune Party Committee clearly identified the key task as building a team of cadres and party members with a sense of responsibility, close to the people, for the people, while improving the quality of administrative services through strong procedural reform and digital transformation application.

Right from the first working day after the merger (July 1, 2025), cadres, civil servants, and party members of the commune were present at the Public Administration Service Center early in the morning, carefully preparing to welcome and support the people. Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune Nguyen Minh Ngoc said: "We have determined the motto "5 more, 5 know" to serve the people better: More professional, more friendly, faster, simpler, more convenient; know how to listen to people, know how to speak so that people understand, know how to make people trust, know how to smile and know how to apologize".

Tan Hoi commune officials guide people to scan QR codes to access administrative procedures within the scope of the commune-level People's Committee.

That spirit is vividly demonstrated at the commune's Public Administration Service Center, where all procedures are resolved publicly, transparently, quickly and to the satisfaction of the people. All areas from justice, civil status to land, culture - society are resolved quickly and transparently. People expressed their satisfaction with the comprehensive innovation. Mr. Doan Sy Thai, a resident of Tan Hoi commune, shared: "I was worried that the newly merged commune would be crowded and have to wait a long time, but when I got there, I saw that the facilities were spacious, the staff gave enthusiastic instructions, and the procedures were quick and simple, so I felt very secure and happy."

Tan Hoi Commune is a pioneer in applying information technology. The commune's official Facebook and Zalo pages regularly update information, disseminate legal regulations, and provide guidance on administrative procedures. The commune has also organized training courses on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation for all cadres and civil servants to effectively implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo . Mr. Nguyen Minh Ngoc said: "Training not only aims to improve the skills of applying technology in administrative work but also to arouse the spirit of innovation, daring to think, daring to do among commune-level cadres".

Focus on improving people's lives

Tan Hoi Commune Party Committee currently has 45 Party cells and affiliated Party Committees with more than 700 Party members. During its leadership, Tan Hoi Commune Party Committee has paid special attention to socio -economic development and improving the lives of the people in the commune. Party Secretary Nguyen Hoang Kha said: "We aim to build a team of cadres and Party members who are truly pioneers and role models; and to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization."

Promoting the strengths of agricultural production, Tan Hoi commune has promoted the transformation of crop and livestock structure towards efficiency and sustainability. Many production linkage models associated with product consumption have been and are promoting clear economic efficiency. A typical example is the model of producing Japanese rice 2 crops/year in Tan Lap hamlet, with 14 households participating, a total area of 29 hectares, with profits reaching 5 - 7 million VND/ha/crop. The success of the model is closely linked to the leadership role of the Party cell and the management of the hamlet leadership. Mr. Duong Tan Lap - Secretary of Tan Loc hamlet Party cell shared: "The Party cell assigns party members to directly monitor, guide and support production models. At the same time, promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people, promote the leadership role at the grassroots level, and strengthen the people's trust in the Party organization".

Currently, Tan Hoi commune is actively implementing the project "Sustainable development of 1 million hectares of high-quality and low-emission rice cultivation associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta by 2030". Along with agriculture, the Party Committee of the commune orients the development of trade and services associated with the construction of advanced and exemplary new rural areas. Rural markets, residential areas, and residential clusters along key traffic routes are invested in, contributing to promoting comprehensive growth.
