On August 28, Thanh Long Construction Investment Company Limited, Mai Son District, donated Ngoc Linh ginseng extract, a 4-star OCOP product of Son La, to cancer patients and the elderly.
The company donated 25 servings of Ngoc Linh ginseng to 25 cancer patients and the elderly in sub-region 19, Hat Lot town, Mai Son district.
Currently, Thanh Long Construction Investment Company Limited has about 9,000 m2 of Ngoc Linh ginseng from 4 years old to over 10 years old. On April 12, the results of the Institute of Medicinal Materials showed that the active ingredient Majonosid R2 (the main compound characteristic of Vietnamese ginseng) in the Ngoc Linh ginseng sample of Son La reached 5.74%.
In addition, the Company sent samples of Ngoc Linh Thanh Long ginseng extract to the Institute of Food Industry to analyze the content of 17 ACIDAMINE in the ginseng extract. The results showed that the content of 17 ACIDAMINE in Ngoc Linh Thanh Long Son La ginseng extract all reached very high indexes compared to ginseng extracts on the market. Of which, the Cystein content was up to 36.82; the Lysine content reached 1501.58, while some other ginseng extracts on the market did not detect the Cystein content and Lysine content.
