At the meeting, members of the parties discussed a number of issues related to training programs, technology, AI applications, student exchanges between countries, master's and doctoral training, and scientific research activities.

Regarding the strengths of the two schools in training and research on semiconductor technology, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son emphasized: "With the cooperation in recent times and the development of technology worldwide , it is hoped that the Ministry of Education and Training and universities in Vietnam will continue to receive support and companionship from Hiroshima University and the University of Idaho."

With the current development trend of the semiconductor industry, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son believes that the parties will have long-term support and cooperation in the coming time.

Founded in 1949, Hiroshima University (Japan) is a national comprehensive university with a core mission focused on contributing to the realization of a peaceful and free international community. Through cooperation with international organizations on a wide range of projects, Hiroshima University is expanding its influence and network globally. The university supports regional development through links between education, government and industry, and enhances capabilities in education, research, community engagement, health care and university management.

In recent years, Hiroshima University has paid special attention to promoting cooperation in research, education and training with Vietnam. Hiroshima University has received hundreds of Vietnamese students from universities, research institutes, agencies under ministries, departments and branches to study and research in master's and doctoral courses, and short-term exchange courses.

Hiroshima University has signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and memorandums of understanding (MOAs) on training and research with many universities in Vietnam such as Ho Chi Minh City National University, Thai Nguyen University, Phenikaa University, etc. Currently, Hiroshima University is actively preparing for a joint program to train high-quality human resources in the semiconductor industry based on cooperation with the University of Idaho, USA and universities in Vietnam.

On August 1, at the Ministry of Education and Training, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son had a working session with representatives of Hiroshima University (Japan) and the University of Idaho (USA).

The University of Idaho (USA) is the oldest public university in the state of Idaho, in the Northwest of the United States, founded in 1889. The school conducts training according to international standards, highly appreciated in terms of expertise, practice and teaching. With richness and diversity in education and training, the University of Idaho has attracted students from 74 countries around the world to study more than 100 majors in bachelor's, master's and doctoral programs.
