World oil prices today
In today's trading session, April 15 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil price was at 85.62 USD/barrel, down 0.04 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.05%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 85.66 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 85.47 USD/barrel.
Brent crude oil reached 90.52 USD/barrel, up 0.37 USD/barrel, or 0.41% increase. Brent crude oil closed the last trading session of the week at 90.15 USD/barrel and opened this morning's session at 90.80 USD/barrel.
World oil prices fluctuated in different directions amid continuing tensions in the Middle East after Iran launched an unprecedented airstrike on Israel.
After two consecutive weeks of increases, last week, WTI crude oil and Brent oil prices both decreased, of which WTI oil decreased 1.5% compared to the previous week, Brent oil decreased 0.9% compared to the previous week.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On April 15, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail prices of gasoline and oil were adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of April 11. Decreased by 68 VND/liter for E5 RON 92 gasoline; increased by 20 VND/liter for RON 95 gasoline; diesel increased by 622 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 579 VND/liter; fuel oil decreased by 288 VND/kg.
Gasoline discount today
Discount prices of petroleum products today, April 15, at some domestic petroleum agents are as follows:
Pvoil applies discount rates on April 15: RON 95-III gasoline: VND 1,250/liter; E5 gasoline: VND 1,250/liter; Diesel: VND 1,400/liter. This discount rate is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan warehouse.
Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on April 15 as follows: Oil discount 1,300 VND/liter, RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,050 VND/liter, E5 gasoline: 1,050 VND/liter.
MIPEC gasoline discount on April 15: RON 95 gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,100 VND/liter; oil: 1,300 VND/liter.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. With this development, it is likely that in the coming period, petroleum prices will have opposite adjustments in the direction of gasoline increasing slightly, while oil may decrease.
Since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have been adjusted 15 times, of which gasoline prices have increased 8 times and decreased 7 times. Diesel prices have increased 9 times and decreased 6 times.
