Gold-plated durian given to the auction winner of 3 queen durians

At the second Krong Pac durian festival, the Organizing Committee will auction 3 queen durians selected from the most beautiful gardens.

On the morning of August 22, the People's Committee of Krong Pac district ( Dak Lak ) held the second press conference of the second Krong Pac durian festival in 2024.

Providing information on the festival's progress at the meeting, Ms. Ngo Thi Minh Trinh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Krong Pac district, said that preparations for the second Krong Pac Durian Festival in 2024 have basically been completed.

In particular, the competition for good durian farmers has completed the marking of the durian garden competition with productivity and quality. For the programs: Fair to introduce OCOP products and potential agriculture , currently 250 booths have been registered; Cultural and culinary festival of ethnic groups in Krong Pac district (expanded), up to now, 21 units have registered to participate; the program of Experience enjoying durian in the garden and visiting ancient durian trees has basically completed the construction of the exhibition house, booths displaying products, reception points for tourists, people to visit, experience and enjoy free durian...

In particular, the Workshop on Building and Developing a Sustainable Durian Ecosystem will have a Durian Queen auction program. Specifically, 3 unique durians were selected from 31 durian gardens participating in the Beautiful Durian Garden contest; the auction winner will also receive a 24K gold-plated durian for display and souvenir purposes...

The second durian festival of Krong Pac district in 2024 with the theme "Krong Pac durian - Development and integration" will take place at 8:00 p.m. on August 31 at Tan An Lake Square (Phuoc An town). The closing ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. on September 2.

According to statistics, in 2024, the entire Krong Pac district will have more than 8,000 hectares of durian. The durian output in 2024 is expected to reach over 92 thousand tons. Of which, there are many durian varieties with high quality and good yield such as Dona, Ri6, Musang King...
