Accelerating vocational training, connecting the labor market

By 2025, Tay Ninh province aims to enroll and provide vocational training for more than 26,000 people, while attracting at least 25% of junior high and high school graduates to study vocational education. This is a strategic step to improve the quality of human resources, meeting the requirements of socio-economic development in the period of digital transformation and deep international integration.

Expanding vocational training support policies

According to the vocationaleducation implementation plan for 2025 developed by the Department of Education and Training of Tay Ninh province, the province strives to enroll and train 2,092 people at college level, 4,965 at intermediate level and 19,143 people at elementary level or under 3-month programs. Along with that, the province is determined to effectively implement the stream of students after graduating from high school into vocational training, thereby gradually changing social awareness about vocational training - working. The plan also clearly identifies vocational education as not only a solution for skills development, but also a driving force to promote labor restructuring, solve sustainable employment, and ensure social security.

One of the highlights of 2025 is to strengthen extensive propaganda to people, parents, students and businesses. The province will deploy many propaganda channels: from the electronic information portal system, education sector website to newspapers and social networks. Columns, news - articles, reports on vocational education will be built to suit each target group to spread a positive image of occupations and labor skills. Programs such as: Vietnam Labor Skills Day, National Vocational Skills Week will be organized on a large scale and in a variety of forms, attracting the attention of the whole society.

To encourage students to choose vocational education, the province maintains and expands practical support policies: 100% tuition exemption for junior high school graduates entering secondary school, credit support for students, vocational scholarships, boarding schools for students in disadvantaged areas, transfer from secondary school to college, university... The province will organize provincial conferences on career guidance, streaming; direct admission counseling for students in grades 9 and 12, and create conditions for students to experience reality at vocational education institutions. Thereby, helping students and parents better understand the role and value of vocational education for employment and future career development.

Connecting businesses, improving training

Currently, Tay Ninh province is promoting cooperation with businesses in training according to the address of use, ordering training according to demand, ensuring that after graduation, there will be jobs immediately. Digital transformation in vocational education is also being vigorously implemented, helping to modernize the content and teaching and learning methods.

The province will organize quality assessment of vocational training institutions, innovate programs and textbooks, develop a team of teachers, artisans, and experts, and actively participate in provincial, regional, and national vocational competitions. In addition, the province will also implement policies to support elementary training, under 3 months for people whose land has been recovered, people who have completed their prison sentences, rural workers, young people who have completed their military service, etc., contributing to creating sustainable livelihoods for the disadvantaged.

With the spirit of comprehensive innovation and high determination from all levels and sectors, the province is gradually building a modern and flexible vocational education system, linking training with the reality of the labor market, ready to adapt to the requirements of the 4.0 industrial revolution. Vocational education is not only a second path, but is becoming a solid path for many young people to choose to establish themselves and their careers, contributing to building Tay Ninh to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new period.
