The industrial promotion program has encouraged enterprises to apply new scientific and technological advances, improve the efficiency of production and business activities, preserve and develop traditional crafts, and protect the environment.

Lien Hanh Company Limited (Vu Thu Town Industrial Cluster, Vu Thu District) specializes in processing rice and producing fresh vermicelli, dried vermicelli, instant pho with the ViOne brand. With the support of the Department of Industry and Trade from the national industrial promotion program, the Company has invested more than 20 billion VND in equipping color sorting machines for processing rice for export and a closed production line for producing dried pho noodles and dried rice paper automatically. Thanks to modern machinery and production technology, the product quality has been improved and is highly appreciated by domestic and foreign markets. Each year, the Company supplies the market with nearly 10,000 tons of rice and millions of fresh vermicelli and instant pho products of ViOne for a revenue of nearly 400 billion VND.

Not only Lien Hanh Company Limited, in the past 10 years, in the province, there are 947 enterprises and IT establishments that have benefited from industrial promotion policies with a total support fund of nearly 72 billion VND from national and local industrial promotion sources. Models of technical demonstration, technology transfer and application of modern machinery, scientific and technical advances in industrial and handicraft production have helped enterprises increase productivity, product quality and enhance competitiveness in the market.

In order to help enterprises and industrial establishments develop and integrate, in recent years, the Center for Industrial Promotion - Industrial Development Consulting (Department of Industry and Trade) has focused on supporting vocational training, imparting vocational skills and improving skills for workers. 15,520 rural workers have been trained in industrial sewing, maintenance, repair, and operation of agricultural machinery... In particular, the Center also supports the development of typical rural industrial products and improves management capacity for industrial establishments.
Ms. Tran Thi Dien, Deputy Director in charge of the Center for Industrial Promotion - Industrial Development Consulting, said: From 2012 to 2022, we have organized training to improve management capacity, start businesses, organize production, and enhance business capacity for 3,593 managers and leaders of enterprises, establishments, and cooperatives producing IT. After the training, entrepreneurs have raised their legal awareness, developed ideas, made business plans, analyzed potential customers, competitors, marketing plans, and standardized production processes to create breakthroughs in production and business development. In addition, the Center also organized training for IT establishments on electrical safety; food safety; and cleaner production processes in industry and craft villages with a total cost of more than 10 billion VND.
Looking back over 10 years of implementing the industrial promotion program, Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, affirmed: From the source of "seed capital" from the state, invested and supported to the right subjects, with the right content and closely monitored, it has attracted large resources from enterprises, production and business establishments to invest in developing the industrial park sector. Of the total of nearly 382 billion VND mobilized to implement 466 industrial promotion programs and projects, the counterpart fund of enterprises and industrial park establishments is nearly 310 billion VND. This is a significant resource for investment in developing industrial parks, promoting economic and labor restructuring towards industrialization, modernization, sustainable poverty reduction and building advanced new rural areas in localities.
