In the first six months of 2026, industrial production in the commune continued to maintain stability, playing a crucial role in economic growth, budget revenue, and job creation. Several key industries, such as bricks, paving stones, and beer, maintained production levels and achieved significant growth compared to the same period last year. The industrial and construction sector currently accounts for over 76.8% of the local economy, with industry alone accounting for nearly 67.7%. In 2025, the total value of industrial production reached over 4,169 billion VND, an increase of 19.5% compared to the previous year.

Saigon Beer - Phu Tho Joint Stock Company (Trung Ha Industrial Park) provides employment for over 100 workers with an average income of 8-9 million VND per person per month.
The development of the industrial sector has significantly contributed to creating stable jobs for local workers, especially rural workers. From primarily small-scale agricultural production, many workers have shifted to working in industrial and handicraft enterprises and production facilities, earning more stable incomes and gradually improving their living standards.
In the Trung Ha Industrial Park, Saigon Beer - Phu Tho Joint Stock Company is one of the exemplary enterprises in providing employment for local workers. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong, Deputy Director of the company, stated: "The company was established and began operations in 2010 with a modern production line imported from the Federal Republic of Germany. By 2025, the company aims to supply approximately 40 million liters of draft and canned beer to the market. In the first six months of 2026 alone, beer production is estimated to reach 21.2 million liters, with revenue reaching approximately 356 billion VND, an increase of 19.5% compared to the same period last year."
In addition to maintaining production growth, the enterprise also creates regular jobs for more than 100 workers, of which about 40% are local residents of Tam Nong commune, with an average income of 8-9 million VND/person/month. This is a stable source of income for many rural households in the context of rising living costs.
Having been with the company since its early days, 40-year-old Phan Hong Phong from Hong Da (Tam Nong commune) shared: “I have worked at the company for 16 years now, currently in the packaging department. My average income is about 10.5 million VND/month. The job is stable and close to home, so it saves on commuting costs and allows me more time to take care of my family. Therefore, I feel secure and committed to the company.”
Many other businesses in the area are also contributing to creating jobs for rural workers. Currently, the commune has 54 operating businesses, reaching 94.7% of the annual plan and increasing by 5.9% compared to the same period last year. Some businesses maintain stable production and significantly increased revenue, such as: Vnhome Group Joint Stock Company with a production volume of 3.4 million m² of ceramic tiles, revenue reaching 287.6 billion VND; Vinh Thinh Construction Materials Joint Stock Company producing 11 million tiles; New Stone Technology Joint Stock Company achieving revenue of approximately 177 billion VND...
The stable production maintained by businesses has a positive ripple effect on the local labor market. Many workers who have completed vocational training find stable jobs right in their hometowns, instead of having to travel far for work as before. This contributes to reducing the pressure of labor migration, maintaining family stability, and preserving social order in residential areas.
Along with business development, vocational training and job creation have also been comprehensively implemented by the local government. In the first six months of 2026, the commune created 175 new jobs, achieving 56.45% of the annual plan; and simultaneously sent 17 workers abroad under contract. Vocational training for rural workers continues to be promoted through coordination with the Tam Nong Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center to organize training courses tailored to actual needs.
Furthermore, the locality is focusing on improving the investment environment and promptly resolving difficulties for businesses to maintain production growth. The People's Committee of the commune regularly monitors the operational situation of businesses, supporting them in resolving difficulties related to input materials, product consumption markets, administrative procedures, and infrastructure investment. In particular, the implementation of transportation infrastructure projects, the expansion of Trung Ha Industrial Park Phase II, and other key industrial and service projects are expected to continue creating many new job opportunities for local workers in the coming time.
In the context of a challenging economic environment, the results achieved in job creation in Tam Nong commune further affirm the effectiveness of the policy of developing industry and handicrafts while ensuring social security. This is also an important prerequisite for the locality to continue shifting its economic structure, improving the quality of life for its people, and aiming for sustainable development in the coming period.
